The New Yorker Ensemble

On May 20th, 2015, in Greenwich House Music’s Renee Weiler Concert Hall, The New Yorker Ensemble played their debut concert entitled 'Folk in Classical Music'. Following the premiere's success, the NYE performed 'Gypsy in Classical Music' as part of New York City's Gypsy Festival on September 29th at Drom in the East Village. In addition to the musicians listed above, this ensemble also includes singers, actors and dancers. Last season, they presented several interdisciplinary projects such as 'Drama in Beethoven' and 'Talking to Schubert'.

Before Reeds Amis formed in 2014, Angela was a member of the Pyramus Trio.
Here is the NY premiere of composer David L. Post's DIVERTIMENTO FOR REED TRIO (1995), on April 24, 2012, at Saint Peter's Church in Manhattan. The work was part of Douglas Townsend's Third Annual Social Networking Concert.

From time to time, members of The Chelsea Symphony come together for collaborative chamber music opportunities.
In this video, The Chelsea Quintet performs the music of composer Nell Shaw Cohen at the grand opening of the new Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, NY on November 10, 2012. Composed for wind quintet in 2011, "Watercolors" is inspired by the watercolor paintings of Charles Ephraim Burchfield (1893-1967): a visionary American artist.
